May 31 – June 2 (Friday to Sunday) 2013: The competition team will be appearing at Southport.

August 6 (Tuesday): Competition Deadline.

August 7- 11 (Wednesday to Sunday):Entries will be shortlisted to two winners for each of the six categories and contacted by phone and email and invited to attend the cook-off.

August 12th (Monday): Organisers reserve the right to withdraw the offer if they have been unable to obtain a response from shortlisted entrants.

August 14th (Wednesday) or if not, Monday, August 19th: Shortlisted entrants need to be available for two hours, where they will be serving their dish for celebrities at The Academy, Liverpool Community College, Tradewind Square, Duke Street, Liverpool, L1 5BG. September 7-8 (Saturday & Sunday): Liverpool Food & Drink Festival in Sefton Park where Signature Recipe winners of each of the six categories will be announced. More information at

September 29-30 (Saturday & Sunday): The winning signature recipe cards will be available at The North West Vintage Rally in Victoria Park, Halton and from October 2013 across the region.

October-December: Winners will also become ‘Love Food, Hate Waste’ ambassadors for Merseyside and Halton and be offered the opportunity to accompany a press tour of one of Merseyside’s food recycling operations.
